Reminiscent of the Brit-rock of the early '90s, Washington, DC trio Army of Me play middle of the road rock music that fills elevators and dentist offices with melancholic sounds. Even though this band has been kicking around for over a decade, they're undoubtedly going to be compared to One Republic, and with good reason, as songs like "Better Run" pull off the Elton John meets Train soft rock magic that keeps America's secretaries rocking. If you dig Tonic or The Verve Pipe, chances are this unit's well-intended guitar runs and Three Doors Down-like charisma will bowl you over with songs like the breezy "Rise" and crushed velvet rock of "Meet You At The Mouth".
